Effective date: 30 October 2026 · Version: 5
1. Who we are, and agreement to these terms
Kindom is provided by Ananta Bound LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (in the app, and at anantabound.com/privacy). If you don't agree, don't use the app.
These Terms are a contract between us and you, the parent or legal guardian who creates the account. Children never contract with us directly.
2. Accounts and family structure
- Adults create accounts. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and the parent or legal guardian of the children you add.
- You create your children's profiles. Children cannot register themselves. By creating a child profile you confirm you are that child's parent/guardian and you consent to the processing of their data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Keep your credentials safe. Your account uses your email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. Child profiles are accessed through your household (a parent-managed profile switch, or a household code you choose to share with your child's device). You're responsible for who you give household access to.
- One household, your data. Every household's data is isolated from every other household's.
3. Parent responsibilities
You, not we, decide and are responsible for: the chores, values, allowance amounts, rewards, and rules you set for your family; any real-world money you choose to pay your children (see §5 — the app tracks it, we never hold it); supervising your children's use of the app and of the devices they use it on; and the accuracy of what you enter.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms any child;
- attempt to access another household's data, probe or defeat our security or row-level access controls, or reverse-engineer the service;
- misrepresent yourself as a child's parent or guardian;
- upload content that is unlawful, or abusive toward any family member (chore photos and family messages are for your household's private family use);
- resell, scrape, or commercially exploit the service;
- interfere with the service's operation (rate abuse, automated access, etc.).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules (§8).
5. Kredits — in-app points, not money
The app includes an in-app points system, Kredits (symbol "₭"), that children earn through chores, games, and family activities and spend on rewards their parents define.
These points are a closed-loop feature of the app, not money:
- They have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash from us, ever.
- They are not transferable — not between families, not outside the app, and they cannot be bought, sold, or exchanged anywhere.
- They exist only inside your household; there is no cross-household transfer of points or value.
- They are a motivational/educational tool. Any real-world allowance or payout the app helps you track is a private arrangement between you and your child — we never hold, transmit, or process that money.
- We may adjust the mechanics of the points system as part of operating the app; points carry no property right and no entitlement against us.
- On account termination or deletion, point balances are extinguished with the account and have no residual value.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Optional subscriptions, where offered, are billed through the App Store or Google Play as in-app purchases; we never receive your payment details. Before you buy, we will show the price, the billing period, that the subscription renews automatically, and how to cancel.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your app-store account settings, and cancelling there is as easy as subscribing. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their policies; where the law gives you additional refund rights (e.g. EU 14-day withdrawal), those apply.
All purchases are made by the parent. There are no in-app purchases in the child experience, and children cannot spend real money in the app.
7. Family Circles (by invitation)
Family Circles lets households that know each other connect so their children — and, where a parent chooses, the parents themselves — can play templated games together. It's available by invitation; for everyone else it is switched off. These rules apply:
- Invitations are strictly adult-to-adult. Only a parent may create, send, or accept a circle invitation, and only to another child's parent. Sharing an invite code with a minor, or using circles to give any non-parent access, is a violation of these Terms.
- Only invite families you actually know. Circles are for real-world relationships — relatives, friends, classmates' families — not strangers.
- Your child's participation requires your verifiable consent per child, per family (see the Direct Notice to Parents), and you can withdraw it at any time.
- Grown-ups may play too. A parent from a connected family may take a seat in the same game as your child, under a nickname they choose, and every adult seat is labelled as a grown-up's.
- Cross-household play is templated-only: no chat, no messages, no media, and no money or points ever cross households. The only words that cross are the display names parents choose or approve (a child can suggest one), and our server refuses names that contain a family's own names or contact details.
- Leaving ends the game for everyone. If any family withdraws a child, stops sharing, or leaves the circle, every game that player was in ends for all families at the table.
- We may remove any circle, member, or connection we reasonably believe is misused, and either household can sever a connection instantly.
8. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account in-app at any time (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what deletion does, including backup timing). We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice where practicable so you can export your data. Sections that by their nature survive (5, 9–11) survive termination.
9. Disclaimers
- The app is a family organization and financial-education tool. It is not financial advice, banking, or a payment service.
- The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-interruption. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free — though we genuinely try.
- Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived (including EU/UK statutory consumer rights).
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control; our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory protections and venue rights (EU/UK consumers keep them).
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect, and if you don't agree you can delete your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. We won't reduce children's privacy protections by terms change — changes to child-data practices follow the consent rules in the Privacy Policy instead.
